COVID 19 Update 2 - Friday 13th November 2020

Dear parents and carers,

Thank you all for your continued support through these difficult times. We have greatly appreciated your support. You have kept us informed of cases within your family, have kept your son at home if he has displayed any symptoms and  you have responded quickly when we have had to send a class bubble or a year group home. This has made everything as smooth as it can be given the situation.

Thank you also for reinforcing the messages about hand hygiene at home and the importance of face masks in corridors and communal areas.

You will all be aware that cases are rising in Luton and that some schools will be moving to a rota system in the very near future.

At Challney Boys, we are planning for different scenarios so we are ready, if and when we have to do this. We will keep you informed about any move to rotas in the future. The situation is fast moving and we will perhaps have to react quickly but we will do our best to inform you with the least delay possible. We will of course provide remote learning for students should this happen.

 Thank you for your support. Your sons have coped exceptionally well with all the challenges and changes to their school routine.
