COVID 19 Update - Monday 28th September
We were pleased to welcome our two Year 7 groups, who had been self-isolating, back to school on Thursday last week, and this morning we were delighted to welcome back our Year 11 students who had also been self-isolating. I am pleased to say that, at the moment, no groups of students are required to self-isolate and all year groups are in school.
As we move into autumn and winter, we will continue to apply all our Covid-security routines consistently and diligently. Although it is highly likely that there will be more instances where we are required to ask some groups to self-isolate, as long as we are all consistent in the application of our routines:
- Staying at home and getting a test if we are symptomatic
- Observing regular hygiene routines
- Maintaining a social distance from others of one metre or more as much as possible
- Following the one-way system around school as well as the separate entrances and outdoor “bubble” spaces
- Wearing a face mask in our public, indoor areas such as corridors,
we will be able to minimise the spread of infection and minimise the need for groups of students to self-isolate.
It is important that if a group is required to self-isolate, those boys do stay at home for the full duration as required. To help protect the wider community, please do not ask them to run community errands such as shopping or collecting siblings from school.
Thanks to all parents for your tremendous support for our current safety routines.
