Challney Boys PE Round up!

It has been a busy term in the Challney Boys PE Department with students competing in no less than 38 competitive fixtures across Year 7-11. Students have been working exceptionally hard in lessons and extra-curricular clubs in preparation for these fixtures and have applied themselves superbly demonstrating true Challney spirit throughout.

We have had huge success with the number of students participating in Rugby this term. Well done to our Basketball and Rugby teams who have performed well across town fixtures this year and congratulations to the Year 11 Dodgeball Team who qualified for the county competition in Bedford.

Inter-house competitions have been a huge success this term with lots of students from all houses competing in football and dodgeball. A big well done to Fosse who have won all 4 dodgeball competitions this half term.

This term also saw the launch of our PE Team of the Month awarded for students who have shown outstanding commitment to the subject through lessons or extra-curricular participation. A massive well done from the PE Team for all of those students nominated this term.

Well done to all those who enjoyed the Rewards trip to Wembley Stadium in November, there will be many more trips like this to look forward to throughout the year.
